The Prayer of Kuntuzangpo is a Nyingma Dzogchen teaching from the Great Master and Terton, Rigzin Gomdenchen, born in 1337. Rigzin Gomdenchen was from Tsang, Tibet, northeast of the 12,950 ft tall Mt. Trazang, one of the most sacred sites of Tibet. This prayer is beneficial at solstices, solar and lunar eclipses, times of earthquakes, special lunar days, and the changing of the year. It reminds us as practitioners to be mindful of avoiding separation from others and from things because of the creation in our minds of duality. The great expansion of clarity that comes from this practice helps us maintain a realization of nirvana, and creates a peacefulness in us when things get messy in samsara.
Umdze Chant Leader: Janet McIntyre took refuge with Ven. Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche and Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche in 1993. A dedicated practitioner, she completed her Ngondro accumulations and continues with her practice of the Dark Red Amulet. She often assisted at retreats by cooking yummy meals and is a retired nurse, grandmother, and great grandmother.
We hope you can join us for this opportunity to meditate and practice together!
People of all levels of interest and meditation are warmly welcome!

As Buddha Shakyamuni told in the Sutra teachings, if you build a temple or stupa that represents the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, it will bring tremendous merit. Even when it is gone, the dust of this place will continue to generate merit and benefit to all those connected to this project. According to that, we dedicate this merit.
By this merit may all obtain omniscience.
May it defeat the enemy, wrong-doing.
From the stormy waves of birth, old age, sickness, and death,
From the ocean of samsara, may I free all beings.

Dearest PBC Sangha Members and Friends,
I hope that this message finds you safe and secure, and filled with courage and confidence.
During this difficult time, it is important to support each other and to remember the Dharma, seeing this as an opportunity to practice compassion and loving-kindness for ourselves and others.
The Padmasambhava Buddhist Centers are taking several steps to help us all do this.
Firstly, as my heartfelt offering to deepen your meditation and retreat with day-to-day study and practice, below please find general guidance and resources for doing retreat at home. This includes relevant videos and lineage heart essence instructions. If you have any questions, email us at: jowozegyal@catskill.net
Secondly, to help us stay in touch, we’re creating a private message board for each PBC Center’s website where we can leave notes, encouragement, and offer help to other Sangha members.
Thirdly, next week we will inform you of livestream practices from Padma Samye Ling monastery and retreat center beginning sometime in April, so that we can all practice and meditate together with myself and the lamas online.
In addition, here are special prayers we published last week in response to requests from our Sangha, including White Tara practice and others, which I have asked everyone to participate in if possible.
Recommended prayers and mantras
Requested White Tara practice and mantras
For the safety and heath of all PBC Sangha Members and Friends, all PBC Centers are temporarily closed until further notice.
I ask that you pray for the well-being of all sentient beings, and follow the advice of your health professionals.
Please be careful to monitor yourselves for symptoms of the Covid-19 virus, and contact your health care providers if you start to show any symptoms. This is a practice of loving-kindness, taking care of both yourself and those who you come in contact with.
May we all emerge from this difficult time more courageous, stronger in our commitment to the Dharma, and filled with even more bodhichitta.
Yours in the Dharma,
Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche

We’re now in the process of finalizing permits and beginning construction of the main meditation temple. The horse barns are being converted into a temple, meditation sanctuary, and fellowship hall, and the land will be preserved as a park-like setting for contemplative walks, meditation, or simply sitting in quiet reflection.
Palden Sherab Pema Ling is located on ten-acres of land that includes a pond, numerous trees, fields, and wetlands that are enjoyed by abundant local wildlife.
The Palm Beach Dharma Center—a local branch of the Padmasambhava Buddhist Center—is looking for funding to create this beautiful sanctuary. It will be a place for spiritual rejuvenation to promote natural beauty where outer peace and harmony, foster inner healing and tranquility. Its namesake is Ven. Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche, one of the great Tibetan Buddhist masters and scholars of the 20th century. He and his brother, Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche, long dreamed of creating a Buddhist retreat center in South Florida.
With the help of your kindness and generosity, this dream could now become a reality.
Please visit the Palm Beach Dharma Center website for more details:
