OUR DHARMA
CENTER:

419 East Iris Drive
Nashville , TN 37201-3107

Having opened the doors in October 2006 of the first permanent Tibetan Dharma Center in Middle Tennessee , PBC-TN has seen its fortunes soar. Membership and attendance have climbed dramatically, and we have expanded our weekly meetings from three to five.

In addition, we have been able to offer special teachings, especially retreats led by our lamas and Ani Lorraine, their assistant, as well as broadcasts by our teachers from afar. The teachings they gave last year in June were the first ever given in Nashville to the local sangha.

More than that, however, deep roots have already begun to grow. They began when our lamas, the Venerable Khenpos, blessed the site shortly after it was purchased. Two devoted students have moved in the office space to offer special massage services, and there is a palpable sense of increased joy and community from having such a special place to call our home.

The deeper the roots, the greater the tree that grows above. We hope and expect that this tree will be a growing source of comfort and strength for our community.

YOU CAN HELP

The generosity of our community has brought a dream to life. We cannot thank everyone enough. All is in place for us to open and welcome all who are interested in our path. However, we would very much appreciate help with our ongoing expenses and manifesting the expanded vision of our teachers.

This can be done through a tax-deductible donation, or by membership. Membership in the PBC, which gives 10% off at all events, is $300 a year. This can be given monthly, quarterly, or annually. And donations of any size would be most appreciated.

Please click here or contact Kirby Shelstad for more info on how you can help.

Thank you.
